Bearing RFQ Checklist: What Buyers Should Send for a Quote
A useful bearing RFQ gives the supplier enough information to identify the requirement without guessing. Use this checklist for a replacement, a matched set or a new equipment project.

Identify the exact bearing or assembly
Copy the full bearing marking, including suffixes, and attach readable photographs. State whether the requested quantity means individual bearings or matched sets. If you only have shaft or housing measurements, clearly label them as measurements rather than a confirmed bearing designation.

Describe the duty that affects selection
Provide equipment type, bearing position, normal and maximum speed, radial and axial loading if known, working temperature, medium and lubrication. For an insulated motor bearing, include the drive and isolation arrangement. For cryogenic equipment, include the cooling and warm-up cycle. Leave unavailable values marked unknown for engineering review.

Make the commercial request comparable
Give the destination country and city, requested delivery date, required documents and any inspection or packaging requirements. Ask the supplier to state the proposed model, quantity basis, currency, shipping terms, quotation validity and what remains subject to engineering confirmation. Availability and lead time must be confirmed for the actual request, not assumed from a catalog page.

Send one traceable inquiry
Submit the requirement through the GSNK inquiry form using a monitored business email. Attach drawings, marking photographs or a purchasing list when available. Keep the reference number for subsequent corrections and follow-up. The form accepts PDF, JPG, PNG, XLS and XLSX, up to three files and 10 MB per file.

Final checks before inquiry
Can I request a quote when the model is unknown?
Yes. Provide marking photos, measured dimensions and equipment information, and state what remains unknown. A final model must still be confirmed before purchase.
Does a matching bearing number guarantee interchangeability?
No. Verify the full suffix, internal arrangement and duty as well as dimensions. A dimensional match is not a complete engineering approval.
What is the minimum useful quotation request?
A full model or usable identification evidence, quantity, application and destination, together with contact details for clarification.
